Richard Olsen


Over the last 15 years, Richard has successfully bought and sold various businesses, working on both an interim and equity basis. He has held a number of director roles and currently heads up a financial services business and a marketing communications agency in Rutland.

Richard’s vast experience has spanned many sectors including telecoms, charity and renewable technology. He currently holds a number of non-executive positions where he provides commercial advice and strategic direction to a range of businesses, as well as chairing the board in some cases.

As a financial advisor, Richard’s specific expertise is around preparing businesses for funding before securing finance to support business growth, capital acquisition and refinancing.

Bob Clarke


Bob’s experience lies predominantly in the logistics and industrial sectors where he has held managing director and board positions for over 30 years. He has worked with both plc’s and private groups of companies to successfully improve business performance through growth, cost control, finance and organisational change.

More specifically, Bob has expertise in both growing, and turning around, businesses in the industrial, manufacturing and logistics sectors and recently set up his own consultancy business in 2011.

James Hunt


James brings a wealth of experience to the Pegasus team, having previously occupied positions as a Finance Director, Corporate Banking Manager, Credit Management in a career spanning over 30 years. His expertise lies in credit structuring to maximise opportunities.

He also has experience managing his own family businesses, giving him valuable insight into the common pressures faced by SMEs, as well as sitting on the board of the local golf club.

Through his support, he aims to help businesses find financial deals that offer maximum returns while easing the concerns of lenders for a smoother and quick application process. He also focuses on quality in all his deals, allowing the client to walk away with their needs truly fulfilled.

Martyn Brooke

Credit Management Consultant

Martyn is a highly experienced Credit Management Consultant with more than 30 years experience in helping a wide range of companies to get their money quicker.

During his career, Martyn has held a number of Senior European Credit Manager roles in global companies. He has gained invaluable experience in working with businesses to deliver effective credit management and cash collection procedures to alleviate cash flow problems.

Martyn has been a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Credit management since 1992 as well as being a member of the Association of International Credit Directors.

In addition, he is an accredited member of the IBD Group of Business Advisors which provides access to over 200 advisors across multiple disciplines.

Richard Malczyk

R&D Tax Consultant

Richard’s career began in R&D before moving into product management and international marketing. He soon became MD of a high-tech software start-up, building the business from the outset and successfully raising grants and venture finance along the way.

Over the past 13 years, Richard had enjoyed running his own consultancy business and has taken up multiple roles as mentor, consultant and coach. His clients have been high-growth businesses, from start-ups to corporates, and established ventures seeking transformational change.

He has expertise in advanced business planning as well as securing a wide range of investments, including early stage finance for entrepreneurs to complex funding for cutting-edge innovations. Richard’s extensive knowledge covers both debt and equity finance.

He also has a strong personal experience of pitching for funding from business angels. His latest venture successfully raising seed capital from a US business angel in 2010 and exiting in 2015 with a $25 million trade sale. He even has a Dragon’s Den appearance under his belt!
