Peter has more than 30 years of corporate experience, including European Managing Director and European Vice
President roles, in leading companies in the Multimedia, Document and Training Management, Online Auctions, Telecommunications and Global Sourcing sectors.
This experience encompasses the creation of the start-up operations throughout Europe right through to final IPO or trade sale.
Having co-founded Pegasus Funding Resources Peter specialises in helping other start-up and growth companies to prepare themselves for funding and to introduce them to sources of finance. In particular Peter uses his experience to guide companies through the business plan writing process and the challenge of not only presenting to investors but also of being well prepared for the unexpected questions that will follow.

Alan Cottle MCMI
Consultant
Alan has more than 30 years experience in both large and SME businesses. He has worked in a FTSE 100 company at senior
level and has started and built a specialist engineering business taking it to a turnover of £2m and 22 staff. The company
provided equipment to multi national customers in the automotive, oil and marine sectors and was a significant exporter.
His experience includes business start-ups and acquisition, managing growth businesses, project management, logistics management and quality systems. He understands the issues facing growth businesses and strategic financial resource planning to achieve growth potential.
He has experience in raising funds for businesses with growth potential and has particular experience of raising Business Angel finance. Alan can use his experience to guide companies through the fund raising process and support them through out the negotiation process with potential funders.
He spent 3 years with Business West as a Business Adviser specialising in start up businesses with high growth potential. He then joined the South West Angel & Investor Network (SWAIN) as Area Manager when it opened its doors for business in May 2004. During his 2 ½ years at SWAIN he was instrumental in getting private equity investment into many companies and has recruited a significant number of "high net worth individuals" to grow the network

Mark Heaton Consultant
Mark has 30 years experience in banking and has worked both in Europe and Asia. Mark has had several senior lending/funding roles covering SME businesses, Corporate and Institutional clients and senior management positions leading sales and relationship management teams. The last couple of years has seen Mark involved in Procurement services together with advising SME's on reducing their direct and indirect cost base.
Having worked in many aspects of banking Mark has an excellent understanding of the lending requirements of banks and other institutions when looking at funding proposals and business plans. Mark uses his experience and finance contacts to help companies prepare themselves for funding through well written business plans, introducing them to various sources of finance and negotiating funding and/or banking facilities.

Bruce Colley
Consultant
As Investment Director for SWAIN (the South West Angel and Investor Network) Bruce has over 6 years' experience in helping growth businesses raise equity investment. He was instrumental in securing over £3.5M equity investment on behalf of 30 companies directly from SWAIN investors. This subsequently leveraged a further £10M of equity
from other angel networks and £700K of debt finance.
Prior to working for SWAIN Bruce was the Technical Director of PC Maritime for 5 years (a marine software publishing company). He was also the Managing Director of an e-commerce integration business and has experience of working at a senior level with BAe and Plessey/GEC. Bruce's earlier technology focussed background, including a computing focussed PhD, gives him a better understanding of technology businesses. He has also completed an MBA which provides a useful background to his commercial experience..
During his 6 years at SWAIN Bruce has worked with companies across all sectors and has developed an understanding of the real commercial pressures affecting businesses in the south-west, especially around raising finance. He has also developed a strong working relationship with the local professional community including corporate lawyers, accountants and bankers. |

Richard Olsen MBA
Consultant
Richard, since establishing his consultancy over 8 years ago, has worked as Commercial Director & Managing Director in a number of businesses on an interim or equity basis. He has worked in companies of all sizes, from technology start-up businesses to currently Group Sales & Marketing Director for a Security Company based in Norfolk.
Richard is currently Non-Executive Director of Landmark Media International, a specialist Golf PR Agency, acting as financial sounding board and Non-Executive Director of Peterborough Consultancy Limited, part of PECT (Peterborough Environment City Trust) providing advice on product development steering group and commercial and strategic direction.
In the above roles Richard has written business plans, obtained grant funding, set up leasing arrangements, negotiated bank facilities and run board meetings. He has always worked on a partnership basis with all his clients and quickly identifies the key areas to drive through improvements within business.

Kirsten Ottley MSci ACMA
Consultant
Kirsten is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has a first class master's degree in mathematics and statistics with honours. She has previously worked for Capital One Bank specialising in the areas of marketing and analysis, financial modelling and reporting and enterprise risk management. Kirsten has also worked for HFC Bank PLC and has worked as the Operations and Finance Manager at the charity Robin Hood Ministries.
Kirsten has joined Pegasus Funding Resources as a consultant to specialise in creating complex financial models for our clients.
