Continuing to support small business growth, and broadening their offering, business finance specialists, Pegasus Funding, has added credit management services to their portfolio with the appointment of Martyn Brooke as one of its advisors.

With a primary target market of early stage and start-up ventures, Pegasus Funding is all too familiar with the cashflow challenges small businesses face. Martyn has substantial experience in the credit management field, having gained graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management in 1992. During an early career in customer services, Martyn gained great insight into the order to cash process and it was from here that his interest in the wider credit management arena was born.

More recently, Martyn has assumed a number of consultancy and interim roles working with companies to improve their order to cash processes and credit management procedures. He has extensive knowledge in helping businesses to reduce their debtor days (DSO) and minimise the risk they are exposing themselves to. Martyn’s knowledge spans a wide range of businesses including SMEs and large-scale corporations.

“This strategic move for Pegasus comes at a time when businesses are starting to show a renewed confidence in their growth potential. Many are even intending to borrow as part of their growth strategy. As such, we are delighted to add credit management services to our line-up with a view to helping businesses with the planning as well as the delivery,” explains Richard.
